The idea is to address the all too common situation when you have just added a new release but are too late spot a typo. I propose we allow edits that fit the following criteria be applied immediately as auto-edits:

1) The editor altering the data is the same one who added the release. 2) The subsequent edits are within a specific short timeframe 3) The subsequent edits are changing existing data (alterations to style fixes to titles, time corrections, status changes, language/script, release info) not removing or adding.

This would alleviate some minor but common situations: a) The fact that when you are voting on only 'add release' edits (apparently a pretty common scenario) you don't see the additional later edits correcting small issues. It's common to see 'Yes but....' with a small nit pointed out in edit notes, only to be followed up with 'I already fixed that'. b) That auto editors sometimes clobber those later edits with autoedits without meaning to because of a)

And just that it's really easy to accidentally miss small issues and have to create several edits to fix them, when if you'd noticed them during the add release, they wouldn't be separate edits.

Suggested timeframes from the mailing list thread included: 30 minutes, an hour, until next time modbot runs, until the add release edit has had a comment, or until the add release edit has had a vote [note from reosarevok: I like this one], or alternatively don't allow votes until the short autoapprove period is up.
