Currently, https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Style/Release#Language_and_script specifies that Japanese music should prefer the "Japanese" script over the "[Multiple scripts]" script in most cases. This is even more important in Chinese music, where there should be a machine-readable way to pick between "Han (Traditional variant)" and "Han (Simplified variant)". I would go as far as to argue that "[Multiple scripts]" should never be used in Chinese music, as all Chinese music should have both a Traditional Chinese tracklist and a Simplified Chinese tracklist, and there needs to be a way for tagging software to consume the correct data. ("[Multiple scripts]" is un-consumable.)
