This ticket was created after @outsidecontext suggested on the forum I create one: http://forums.musicbrainz.org/viewtopic.php?pid=32569

I was working through a friend's music collection, and they have many single tracks in their collection, and only very few complete albums.
When I feed these tracks through Picard, with the default settings, it typically tries to assign these to compilation albums where the album artist is "Various Artists" (these compilation albums like "Best of the 60s").
After going through Picard's settings, I moved the "Compilation" slider all the way to the left, and the "Album" slider all the way to the right, as suggested by numerous other posts on this forum ([1], [2], [3]). However, the result of all this is the same, as a great many of these compilation album releases' types are "Compilation + Album" (some example releases revealed by this search: [4]).
That means, even though I have moved the "Compilation" slider down to zero, these releases still get picked by Picard, since they also have the "Album" type.
Is there a way that I can tell Picard to lower the priority of "Compilation" releases if they also have the "Album" type?
Perhaps this is a discussion for the style guide, but at this time I'm mostly interested in helping my friend get their music organized, and avoid all their single tracks being moved to a "Various Artists" album artist directory.
