It would be useful to be able to search in the edit notes, the same way we can search in the annotations now.

Sort Order: Ascending order - Click to sort in descending order

Including search by edit note author (user name).

And this post asks for searching edits that contain any edit note (excluding our own edit notes).
This would be like my previous comment except that we could say anyone but me instead of the name of some editor.

Are we just talking about adding an extra value to the Condition drop down in http://musicbrainz.org/search/edits or something else.

This is it, Paul.

I think we're asking for two different things actually - both useful. One for being able to use "has edit notes (by/not by EditorX)" in the edit search, which looks like work for Ollie, and one for being able to search in them at all (in the search, like we can for annotation), which I think is your stuff. My idea of the ticket was for the latter, which is why we moved it to SEARCH.
