 Description  « Hide

In my Picard preference, I have the "translate artist names" checked, and English choosen.

If I try to tag a release whose artist has english aliases, it takes the first one and not the primary one.

For instance, for Moby : http://musicbrainz.org/artist/8970d868-0723-483b-a75b-51088913d3d4/aliases Picard will try to tag with "DJ Moby" and not "Moby" which is the primary.

Neither of those aliases are marked as the primary alias for the locale?

Hum, the "Moby" Alias was the primary, as http://musicbrainz.org/edit/17807924 shows, but, hum, for the sake of me, I don't understand why it's not any more...

Hmm. Buggy.

In any case, this is not a bug. When Picard was written, no such concept existed, so there's no way it could possibly support it. Picard needs to be updated to be able to support a whole lot of server features from the schema change.

Awesome, thanks Michael! Was about to fix last night before deciding it might jeopardize my travel plans the next day
