I'm sure previous versions of Picard would remember what directory you had open in the file browser. Even so, it would be useful if this state could be remembered between opening and closing MusicBrainz, or at least have a default directory so that I don't have to navigate from "Macintosh HD" to my iTunes music collection every time I open the application.
