Apparently, whatever made it so that when two recordings are merged, the same relationships with the same dates are merged to is no longer working (there's an example on http://forums.musicbrainz.org/viewtopic.php?id=3941 although I expect that will get fixed soon-ish). Obviously this causes even more useless data that has to be cleaned up by editors, so please let's look into this and get it working again.
