I'm not totally opposed to working on this, but I already have a lot on my plate for the schema change, so if it can go to someone else that would be appreciated. It may tie into my ~~MBS-5291~~ work, however, if we need to modify replication at all to successfully replicate into alternative schemas (I don't know if this will be necessary – I'm guessing not, but I can't be totally sure).
