Following overzealous work on ~~MBS-3216~~, daily subscription mails have In-Reply-To and References headers set to a fixed value.
Thus all mails appear grouped in GMail whereas they shouldn't be.

Man, I loved it when it started doing this, I thought it was a new feature It very helpfully kept my subscription emails bundled together.
