The DNS option requires that we create a TXT record. Linking to a google analytics account requires that we embed their JS tracking script. This gives us the added feature of being able to take a look at the statistic reports it generates. Which option do we go with? I'd prefer the DNS option for having least impact on the code base. We've had Google analytics before though I think, so I'm not entirely against that. I went with google analytics. This was brought up in today's dev chat and it seems that when we had google analytics in place earlier, users complained about it slowing the site down. I would prefer one of the last 2.
