In the case of Axel F that's certainly a bug as Ed Starink doesn't even appear on the release.
As for "Bangles" vs. "The Bangles", only the artist credits differ, not the recording artists. If this warning is intentional, there's terminological inaccuracy. Personally, I think there shouldn't be a warning at all.

What about case 2, "Bangles" as an alias/differing artist credit of "The Bangles" at recording (and track) level? Neglect, or only rephrase the warning? The recording artists are indeed identical.
