There's plenty of space (65%?) to the right of the text fields on these forms. 21 chars is rather short for these fields, without any apparent reason for the fields being so narrow.
It's 80x5 now - is that acceptable?
Oh, text fields - not the edit note. my bad
I've conservatively widened a lot of the input fields.
I think it would look silly to make use of the entire screen width
Still an issue while editing a relationship, in cases as http://test.musicbrainz.org/edit/relationship/edit?returnto=http://test.musicbrainz.org/work/cc30d334-a8fd-3bf9-b943-5d4599278837&type1=work&type0=work&id=9342
This is a step back from Mason, where after selecting the entity you could easily see its full name. It will be a huge pain in the ass when adding, for example, a version link as in this case: it is not possible to check with a glance which one is the (a cappella) version, as we can do in Mason.
Agreed to fix within 12 months by #musicbrainz-devel and the scheduling game.
Other than the relationship edit page, are there are any other pages that still need to have their text fields widened?
I've widened the text fields when editing a relationship.
