It'd be good if collections had an annotation-like "description" field, where you could explain what the collection lists and give any other general notes about it.

All schema change tickets will be scheduled separately from normal scheduling cycles, so I am removing these from scheduling.ocharles.org.uk.

Hello, I understand this description will appear in collection page but will it also appear (as excerpt maybe) in collectionS page ?

Not at the moment, no. Do people think it should? It feels to me like it'd be a bit weird, since description is a wiki-like field anyway which might have styling and stuff...

IMO H2 is header level two, desc should be a simple <p> for instance, no?

H2 only says "Description", the description itself is normal text, yes
