 Description  « Hide

As far as I can tell, the credited-as name for http://musicbrainz.org/edit/15950957 is the same as the artist name, but it's still being displayed separately. It makes it hard to tell when someone's using a different credited-as name (perhaps incorrectly) and when they're not.

This was introduced to fix MBS-2890, and I don't know a better way of doing it. Do you mean it shouldn't show the " as Fink" bit?

Yes, exactly.

Here my better way of doing it suggestion from MBS-4349 :

See this edit for instance :
http://musicbrainz.org/edit/16546294

Current
These artists didn't use Artist Credit but are displayed as if they did.

# Old Artist New Artist
14 森綾子 (Salyu, Japanese singer) as 森綾子 森安也子 (video game music composer) as 森安也子

Better
IMO, we should display the disambiguation comment indeed because they are very useful for this kind of edits, but not using the AC style (as XXX) dusplay when no AC.

# Old Artist New Artist
14 森綾子 (Salyu, Japanese singer) 森安也子 (video game music composer)

That's exactly what nikki is suggesting, and will happen
