Indeed not a bug; but could be more user friendly. It's not obvious that clicking the barcode entry will open the "balloon" with the checkbox; it should open this automatically when it has stopped you from proceeding. IMO it should simply just not require confirmation that the barcode is correct unless you're the one actually adding or editing it. If you haven't touched that field, it shouldn't assume you know anything about it. I lie every damn time I tick that box. It should be easy enough to detect too: If the old barcode and the new barcode don't match, the user has added or edited the barcode and it should be checked for validity. Otherwise ignore it because someone else has already said it's correct. |

Just tick the "barcode is OK" checkbox and you'll be able to edit the release as normal.
