In pre-NGS server, on a DiscID page you can check track length with linked releases:
http://classic.musicbrainz.org/show/cdtoc/?cdtocid=455243

In NGS there's no way to compare:
http://musicbrainz.org/cdtoc/LgVu4.L6bnogkAdp1CCuFD63vSw- only lists release titles

Even the set track durations page http://test.musicbrainz.org/cdtoc/LgVu4.L6bnogkAdp1CCuFD63vSw-/set-durations?tracklist=675406 doesn't allow you to compare

Consequence: you do things blindly.

You might consider this an improvement, but this is actually a regression comparing to pre-NGS,
and Rob used to set priority higher for such things (before NGS release).

We are doing set track lenghts edits blindly because we don't know if they are same as the TOC we just added or not.
Edits are then often dumb same same edits http://musicbrainz.org/edit/16568571 (this one even failed as it's the case quite often).
