If you could have a look at setting this up that'd be great, I think you understand the system arch better than me.

The mail system should be ready to go, thanks to Dave. There are very few email addresses in the system. What other sanity checks do you need?

The email addresses in the system are ones from people who re-confirmed I guess. I need you to read the contents of hourly.sh, daily.sh and weekly.sh (if that exists) and see if they make sense for running on hobbes. One of them tries to ssh to scooby and do other stuff, so that may well need to be removed.

Issues that are not relevant have been commented out, and you can do ahead fire up the cron jobs. I will leave this ticket open until I discuss some of these issues with Dave.

I've just noticed your comment about wanting to leave this open... should I reopen this, or should we make a new ticket about that?
