Currently changes for both branches 'next' and 'master' are sent to musicbrainz-commits mailing list.

We agreed during the last developer meeting (http://chatlogs.musicbrainz.org/musicbrainz-devel/2010/2010-04/2010-04-05.html#T19-33-23-796407) to only notify changes for 'master' branch.

I don't think that's intentional, but now we don't have any notifications at all: neither master nor next

I'm not following anymore musicbrainz-commits, so I'm not the better qualified person to reply.
Said differently: you can safely close this ticket as WONTFIX.
